Bandipora:

The Department of Travel, Tourism and Hotel Management at Government Polytechnic College Bandipora organized an educational field visit to the Kudara area of Bandipora as part of its academic curriculum, with the objective of enhancing practical knowledge and providing real-world exposure to students.

The visit was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Aijaz Ahmad Dar and Ms. Uzma Akbar. During the tour, students explored the Kudara area, known for its rich natural resources and significant tourism potential.

As part of the visit, students actively interacted with the local community to gain insights into their culture, history, customs, traditions, and way of life. The session also emphasized cultural sensitivity and awareness, where students were introduced to diverse cultural backgrounds and appropriate ways of engaging respectfully with local communities. This helped foster an understanding of responsible and sustainable tourism practices.

The program included interactive learning experiences that enabled students to observe and apply theoretical concepts in real-life situations, thereby enhancing their communication skills and professional confidence as future tourism professionals.
