ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of Guest Faculty for the academic session May-June 2026 in Government Polytechnic College Bandipora, purely on temporary basis as per details given below.

| Guest Lecturer (Mechanical Engineering) | B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks | In case of a tie in the final merit score, preference shall be accorded to candidates with higher qualifications and greater experience |
| Guest Lecturer Travel Tourism and hospitality management | i) Bachelor’s Degree with 55% marks in appropriate branch/discipline or equivalent from a recognized Institution/University. ii) Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce with first class diploma in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institution/University. iii) Diploma holders first class in appropriate branch/discipline from recognized Institution. Preference shall be given to the candidates from Category (i). In case no candidate from this category is available then preference shall be given to the candidates from category (ii). In case no candidate is available from this category also then candidate from category (iii) shall be taken. |

Applicants shall submit the duly completed application form with all relevant documents enclosed to the office of the Principal of Government Polytechnic College Bandipora by or before 05-02-2026 up to 4 pm. No form shall be accepted after the expiry of the due date and time.
Terms & Conditions
The engagement of Guest Faculty purely on temporary basis for a period of one Academic/semester session May-June 2026 or till the post is filled by regular faculty, whichever may happen earlier.
The selected Guest Faculty will be paid remuneration @ Rs 750 per hour – lecture subject to the ceiling of Rs 20000/- per month.
Selected Candidates shall submit undertaking/Affidavit duly authenticated by the First-Class Magistrate before joining wherein clearly the conditions are stipulated that he/she shall not claim for continuation of his/her services and the agreement can be terminated at any point of time without any notice period.

- 80 Points for Basic Qualification
- 05 Points for Higher Qualification
- 05 Points for Teaching Experience (Polytechnic, Diploma level, or higher level) on a pro-rata basis.
01 Point for each academic year. - 05 Points for GATE / NET / PhD
- 05 Points for Interaction / Interview
