Rules and brief guidelines for implementation of welfare Schemes.

Chapter III-A: Board Administration & Registration Rules

These rules govern the functioning of the Board and the procedure for worker registration.

Board Meetings & Quorum

  • The term of office for non-official members is **three years**.
  • The Board must meet at least **once in two months**.
  • **Quorum** for a meeting: At least **six members** must be present.
  • Non-official members receive a **sitting fee of ₹1,000** per day.

Worker Registration (Rules 22-M, 22-N)

Any eligible construction worker must submit an application in **Form-XXXI**.

  • **Registration Fee:** **₹10** (One time).
  • **Monthly Contribution:** **₹10** per month.
  • Contribution can be paid quarterly, half-yearly, or annually in advance.

Sub-Committees (Rule 22-J)

  • The Board may appoint sub-committees to assist with its duties.
  • The term of a sub-committee is **one year**.
  • A quorum for a sub-committee requires at least **three members**.

Financial Assistance & Social Security Schemes

Benefits sanctioned by the Board to registered construction workers and their families:

Death Benefit (22-Q)

Lump sum amount to the nominee/dependents upon the beneficiary's death:

₹1,00,000

Requires application in Form-XXXIV with death certificate.

Marriage Assistance (22-U)

Financial assistance for the marriage of the beneficiary or their dependent children/siblings:

₹25,000

**Restricted to three members** of the family only.

Maternity Benefit (22-O)

Benefit for women beneficiaries (max. two children):

₹5,000

Allowed **twice only** upon application in Form-XXXII.

Funeral Assistance (22-P)

Assistance to the dependent of a deceased beneficiary for funeral expenses:

₹5,000

Requires application in Form-XXXIII.

Medical & Chronic Disease Assistance

Medical Assistance (22-S)

  • Short Ailment/Accident (Up to 1 month recovery): **₹5,000**.
  • Long Illness/Accident (Up to 3 months recovery): **₹10,000**.
  • Permanent Disablement: **₹75,000**.

Chronic Diseases (22-V)

Financial assistance for life-consuming diseases (e.g., Cancer) for the beneficiary and dependents.

Upto ₹1,00,000

Maximum limit per financial year, or actual expenditure, whichever is less.

Financial Assistance for Education (Scholarship - 22-T)

Scholarship is available for the children/dependent siblings of the beneficiary, restricted to **two dependents** per academic year.
